The analytics section on your Instagram account is a vital source of information for your business. Using these tools correctly can help you get the most out of each post and target the right audience to maximize your reach and influence.
It can be exciting to see the metrics of your account and how each post is doing, how many actions your posts receive, the reach and impressions, but what does all of that mean?
Impressions: the total number of times all of your posts have been seen. This doesn’t mean how many likes your post has received, but how many times people have scrolled past your photo or clicked to view it.
Reach: the number of unique accounts that have seen any of your posts. This tells you how many different people on Instagram have viewed your account/posts.
Profile Visits: the number of times your profile was viewed.
Website Clicks: the number of taps on the website in your profile. If you have your business’s website linked in your bio (you probably should) then this will tell you how many different people have clicked on your link to view your website.
Followers: one of the most valuable sections of your account, this includes information like the times of day your followers are online, as well as the demographics of your followers such as age, gender, and general location.
