Madak Faves of 2017

As you probably know, there are literally hundreds of apps and websites to help you market and run your business. Here are some of our top picks for the year.

Email Marketing

MailChimp is our go-to platform for email marketing. What we love about it… the style is cool and modern and it’s very intuitive for new users, mobile responsive and has a lot of features.

Social Media Content

Canva makes is easy to create professional looking graphics. What we love about it… They have a free option, it’s very intuitive, and they’re constantly updating their products to keep up with trends.

Giphy is a website that allows you to turn video files into gifs. What we love about it… It’s a website that helps us create content that moves automatically.

Social Media Scheduling

We use Buffer to schedule out social media posts for ourselves and clients. What we love about it… It saves us a ton of time and keeps everything organized.

WordPress websites are our choice for ourselves and clients. What we love about them… Once the website is setup and customized, the site owner can update pictures and content with minimal training.

Google My Business is a must-have for every business. Increasingly, shoppers use Google Maps to look up phone numbers, websites and other contact information. What we love about it… It’s google maps and consumers use it frequently.

Google AdWords is the art and science behind getting your business on page one of search results. What we love about it… Google processes 3.5 billion searches every day so the reach you can achieve with AdWords simply can’t be beat.

Facebook and Instagram serve a couple of purposes. As a brand, you get to tell your story here, interact with customers and develop a loyal following. It’s become increasingly difficult, however, to develop this following organically (without paying $$). That’s where advertising comes in – to grow your following, generate leads, create conversions, etc. What we love about Facebook and Instagram advertising… The targeting options. Options include targeting specific people, look-alike audiences and behaviors like, “Likely to move,” or “Shopper in the market for a new small to midsize SUV.” These options allow you to direct a specific message or visual to just the right person – maximizing your spend.
